STAND DOWN for today!!!! Our Hero’s flight has been changed due to weather, plans are being made for “plan B” this weekend. ┬áDetails will be posted as soon as the plans are confirmed.

 

We have been asked by the family of Navy ABE1 Todd J. Simmons to welcome home and escort our hero
from PHL to his family in the Willow Grove area. A Hero’s Welcome will be honored to bring him home!

A native of Abington, this hero has served our great country for more than 13 years as a member of the United States Navy. His naval career has been very active, including participation with the Blue Angels, U.S.S. Harry S. Truman CVN 75, and deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Our hero, ABE1 Todd J. Simmons has been on five deployments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Western Pacific in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom,
MIO, and LEO operations in the Gulf of Oman, and Operation Northern and Southern watch in the War on Terror.
Anxiously awaiting his return are his wife Ashleigh and his two children Emaleigh Rae and Aleigha Lynne, along with other family members and A Hero’s Welcome.
