There’s no better way to celebrate the Holiday Season than to Welcome Home a Hero!

A Hero’s Welcome has been requested by a VERY PROUD patriotic family (Mom-Tracey, Dad-Joe and sister-LCpl Kaleigh Monasterostero, U.S.M.C.) to welcome home their daughter/sister E-3 Alexandria Monastero-Stem as she returns fresh off the U.S.S. Nimitz.

We can’t mention details of her deployment but we CAN say she is a Third Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy with her Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist qualification as well as a 110 Collateral Duty Inspector.

Alexandria always wanted to serve her country in some way and about 2 years after graduating Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, where she was involved with cheerleading, dance and gymnastics, she found her way. In her words….”Once I finally made the decision to do what “I” wanted, and not what everyone planned for me, I found myself with my Mom and best friend leaving me to go to boot camp in the U.S. Navy….I wouldn’t have changed the decision to join the Navy for anything in the world.” About her MOS,Alexandria says, “My job as an Aviation Mechanic Mate is one of the most rewarding rates that I believe the Navy has to offer on the Enlisted side. Working on engines, rotor systems, fuel systems, transmission systems and maintaining the MH60R at HSM-75 has been one of the most eye opening experiences in my life thus far.”

On Saturday, December 16, Alexandria will be leaving her U.S. Navy family to join her real family here for a home visit…and A Hero’s Welcome will be at PHL to surprise her as well and escort this HERO home, safe and sound, to begin her holiday time!!

EVERYONE!…This is a GREAT airport mission to experience! Please join us as we Welcome Home E-3 Alexandria Monastero-Stem!
