Before we met the Veterans participating in the Entrepreneur program, we had the pleasure of presenting the Vietnam Veterans in our group with the Hero’s Welcome certificate. We wanted to give this to our guys at the Vietnam Commemoration program on March 29, 2016 but the day got a little busy and we missed the chance.
A Hero’s Welcome, we have been invited again this year by Ralph Galati, Director of Veterans services, to honor the Veterans participating in the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV). This program is being held at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
There will be a welcoming reception starting at 11:00 am on the St Joe’s campus where we will present the Veterans with our Hero’s Welcome Certificates, our details are still being finalized. Please post below if you will be attending.
The Welcome/Kick-Off event will be on Saturday, April 9.

While our Ceremony is short and informal, it is intended to show our Veterans how important they are to us, and to kick-start their week-long program with a warm welcome to SJU.
“Saint Joseph’s University and the Office of Veterans Services are absolutely delighted to join the Syracuse national consortium,” says Ralph Galati ’70 (USAF), director of veterans services. “In our first year of operation, we committed to serving the veteran community on our campus, and formalized our relationship with the Haub School’s Initiative for Family Business and Entrepreneurship. Our pilot program − the Veterans Entrepreneurial Jumpstart − provided us with a solid foundation in skills and logistics that will enable us to accelerate our implementation of EBV.”
This time it will be in conjunction with Syracuse University and their Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV).
