I just learned this evening (July 28,2012)from my children of Rusty Carter’s misfortune. My heart sank upon learning about this terrific young man’s injuries. You see, I was Rusty’s high school and youth wrestling coach. However, I have been living in San Diego for the past year. I also happen to be a physical therapist therefore, I possess intimate knowledge and experience with spinal cord injuries.
Although small in stature (when in high school), Rusty possessed the heart of a lion…a Penncrest H.S. Lion. His wrestling background, kind disposition and loving family and friends will b e the wind beneath his wings. He may not walk again instead, he will soar!
