James L. Ritter Jr. entered the Marines after graduating Truman High School in 2003. Upon graduating boot camp from Parris Island NC he entered Aviation Electronics School in Pensacola FL. He was then stationed at Cherry Point NC. He married his wife Linda Marie Myers Ritter and had two beautiful children, James Anthony Ritter,six years old, and Abigail Victoria Ritter, four years old. He was deployed four times over his nine years of active duty, once to Iraq in 2005 and three time to various MEUS all over the world. He is classified as an Aviation Electrician working on the Harrier Jump Jet among other specialties. He achieved the rank of Sgt.
