7/28/12 ECPA Welcome Home Spc. Donald Zook, U.S. Army Wyomissing, PA
WWR was contacted by Army mom, Tammy Schlouch, to see if we would be able to surprise her son SPC Donald Zook for his welcome home party. Tammy, we’d love to!
Spc Donald Zook is in the infantry with Alpha Company 2-8 Cav 1BCT 1CD. He will be arriving back from deployment to Iraq as well as Kuwait.
Our hero has earned the Army Commendation Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
We will be escorting our hero from his home to a party his family has arranged to welcome him home. The escort will be less than five miles in distance.
