LCDR Don Green grew up in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia. He attended Ascension Of Our Lord Catholic grade school, and graduated from Northeast Catholic High School for Boys in 1975. He joined the military in December 1993. He married his wife, Rita, in 1987 and had a son Donald in 1995.
