A Hero’s Welcome was contacted by Nelida Lewis to offer her assistance in welcoming the troops in Texas. We do not have a chapter… YET.. in Texas but through our conversations, Lida told me about her husband and I suggested that we have our first welcome home… Let’s say THANK YOU to Anthony right now! Attached is a photo of the overdue but very heartfelt “Welcome Home Hero!” for Anthony.. and I think we’ll be hearing alot more about Lida too. Stay tuned for more news from Texas! When my husband returned from War they had many posters around town where people signed them to show support, they were “suppose” to display them once our service member returned but nobody did anything, We pretty much greated them and that was it, there is never any parades, or welcomes here except for the people the soldiers tell. I am aware that some return and there is nobody welcoming them. I would love to be that person to say Thank you, YOU are NOT forgotten!! I am looking forward in bringing AHW to El Paso!!
